The 1975 Honda CB360T Rebuild Project

by Ken P. Carlson

While snooping at my local auto salvage yard I found a clean low mileage wrecked Honda 360T. Other than the tank, forks, handlebar, and frame it was in great shape. The price was right and a new project had begun.

On Ebay, I found a good tank and on contacting the owner, found out that he also had a good frame with a title. I love Ebay!

Doing the job right called for repainting the frame.

Rather than struggle with a partially disassembled bike falling down, I hung it up with an engine hoist. Worked great as it not only raised it up by it swings around for working both sides.

This was a good time to take pictures of cables and wiring to refer to later on.

Just about have the old bike stripped down.

Trying hard to organize the parts in the order removed for reinstallation.

Now the fun part starts with the new frame and putting it all back together.

Sure glad I have pictures to tell me how this snake pit goes back together!

The effort was well worth the end result. This is one sweet little bike.
